★ Hi, I'm Sharvin
Footballer (Winger) · Prefect · NYAA Award Winner
“I focus on improving my game, supporting my teammates, and doing my part both on and off the field.”
About
I am Sharvin Karthik, a Primary 6 student from Rosyth School. I play mainly as a winger, focusing on making good decisions, working consistently and supporting my team in both attack and defence.
I carry these same values off the field by being responsible, disciplined and doing my part in everything I do. My grit and consistency have been recognised by my coaches and teachers through the trust and responsibilities I have been given.

Position: Winger · Lion City Sailors → FC Barcelona Select Team
I started my football journey with Lion City Sailors, where I built my foundations through regular training and competitive matches. Playing in JSSL leagues gave me experience in structured competition and strengthened my understanding of team play.
One challenge I faced was making quicker decisions during matches. Through training and coach feedback, I improved my awareness and learned when to pass, move or take on players.
I have competed in JSSL and SYL leagues across multiple seasons, adapting to different opponents and contributing to attacking play and team results.
Now training with the FC Barcelona Select Team, I play as a winger, using my pace and movement to create space and support the team in both attack and defence.

Leadership & Service
2026 · Rosyth School

Have you ever heard of organising a beach clean-up for a birthday? I did that.
I learned that leadership is not about the position you hold, but the acts of service you carry out. This idea stayed with me after attending a secondary school open house in Primary 5, and it changed how I see leadership.
Since then, I have tried to lead through my actions by taking initiative, supporting others and doing my part both in school and outside. Being awarded Best Camper in Primary 5 showed my willingness to do what is needed, even when it is not easy. I was also awarded the NYAA Butterfly Award, recognising my consistency and commitment.
Award · 2025
National Youth Achievement Award · Singapore · Entry Tier
The NYAA Butterfly Award recognises consistency and commitment across the National Youth Achievement Award’s entry-tier components. Earning it required sustained effort over months — not a one-off achievement — and reflects the same approach I bring to football and school.
What I'm Working On
I will be attending training in Barcelona, Spain to further develop my technical skills and gain exposure to a higher level of football after my PSLE.
In secondary school, I hope to contribute to the school team. I also plan to continue serving as a prefect and take on greater responsibilities, while progressing to the next level of the NYAA Awards.
